Week 6 on Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and I really enjoyed this challenge as I love the "country style" Also this week is a very special challenge that is being sponsored by Post Pals! We would like to see: Gingham & Stitching and send your card to Post Pals (see below) in order to qualify for entry into the prize draw You may stitch by hand, sewing machine, faux etc. Don't forget your image needs to be digi :o)
"Post Pals is an organisation that was set up to create smiles for children who suffer from life threatening and long term illnesses. We ask people to log on to send the children featured on our website ‘happy post’. When a child is very ill, often a visit from the postman can make their day. A cheery card or letter can make them feel less alone and bring welcome distraction from what they go through each day. To see the difference happy post can make please watch this great video (link) To find out ore about Post Pals, please log on to http://www.postpals.co.uk/ and have a look around the website. There's a fantastic prize on offer for encouragement which is sponsored half and half by Post Pals and DU2DS with a value of £20 and includes a Martha Stewart Punch, some pretty flowers and two digi stamps, all we ask is that you join the DT in following this weeks theme and sending your finished card to a child via the PostPals site.
It was so difficult to decide on just one child, but I chose Alice P this time http://www.postpals.co.uk/pals/Alice+P#, I will be revisiting and sending more cards as I think it is a great idea.
The digi image is a copyright free dover image that I watercoloured with distress inks, the gingham is also a freeby download from the activity village website.
Have a lovely weekend
