More Digi Stamping - Truly Scrumptious

I'm not too sure where I got this fella from but I think he has the funniest expression. This image and sentiment could be used for a number of occaisions.
The BP is 7 Gypsies, plain bp is from a textured stack from sizzix. I water colured the image with my watercolour pencils and made the sentiment in word.
I am entering this card into the Truly Scrumptious challenge 3 there is a sketch to follow and you have to have something shiny on your card. I have used shiny brads and the little orange domes are also a little shiny, so hope this counts LOL.

Gorgeous Willow in Lilac for Sketch Saturday

Hi I have not produced a card in what seems like an age as I have started working full time now which eats into my crafting time (BOO!) but the extra money means I can afford a few crafting goodies (YAY!) I just need to get more organised now to buy myself a little extra time lol. I decided to take part in the Sketch Saturday Challenge #43 . The sketch is a great one to work with and this week I am pleased with how my card turned out, maybe its because is just adore the stamp I used she is so pretty.

Stamp- Willow from Whiff Of Joy Springtime Collection, watercoloured with a little bit of stickles gliiter added to pick out the flowers on her dress. The patterned BP is Making Memories Boho Lauren Paisley which I think is so pretty and suits the stamp well. I bought the flat backed pearls from Ebay they are tiny but cute and the little gold filligree that they sit in in the lilack flower is from Sparklybits.

Anniversary Card

I made this card for my mum's up coming wedding anniversary. I followed the sketch by Katharina on the Cute Card Thursday Blog . It is a well balanced sketch and I enjoyed following it. I am a little dissapointed with my card though, as I feel it is far too fussy, there is far too much of the floral paper on show aaarrrghh! it took ages to make so it will have to do. The stamp is from the Anita's range stamped with Distress Ink that I also dabbed around the edge of the image. The papers are Basic Grey. Ribbons, flowers and brads from stash

BLOG CANDY!!!

To celebrate her 1 yr Blogoversary, there is some wonderful Blog Candy up for grabs on Maria's Cards Blog Pop over to her blog to view her fantastic cards and see details of how to win the yummy candy.

Papertake Weekly Challenge, Penny Black and Pink

I love these cute Penny Black hedgies and I love Pink! lol... I have had some Kate Knight touch of pink papers hanging about for a few months now so thought I should stop just looking at them and use them. I went blog hopping and thought I would join the Papertake Weekly Challenge I loved the simple sketch by Dawny and thought I would rattle a card off easily for that one LOL how wrong! No card is ever rattled off easy as we all know. Anyway here is my effort.

Pink card stock from the Paper Mill, BP Kate Knight, (Dovecraft, I think) Flowers and Ribbon from stash. Stamp Penny Black. Sentiment stamp, not sure sorry,

Torn Edges Oriental Card

The challenge at A Spoon Full Of Sugar this week is Torn Edges. The oriental stamp was given to me in a swap over at Crafty Card Scrappers so I thought I would use it for this challenge. I coloured the stamped image with distress inks and picked out a few bits of it with gold gel pen. I then tore the edges and inked the edges. The backing card is a freeby printable off the web. (sorry don't know who's as my lap top crashed recently and what I recovered was not titled!) I cut some of the flowers out of the backing card and shaped them to make them slightly 3D and added a red gem.The stamped sentiments are from Tanda Stamps, brads from stash, ribbon Dovecraft.
