Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Week 29 - Buttons!

It's Friday! and we are back with a new challenge at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp. Our first challenge this year is Buttons! As usual your creation must contain a digi image and the challenge will run for two weeks.

I love this stamp, the cheeky little mouse is called Bigsby and is a freeby from Karens Doodles Blog She has some fantastic images. I wanted this card colourful but simple as it is for a man. I could not use any flowers booh hoo! lol. You can just about see my button. I don't have many buttons so just used one, and seeing as this card is for a man I think I got away with using a button on it LOL.

I made this card for my OH to give him at valentines and followed the sketch over at Passion for Promarkers  chosen by Michele. She has given a sketch to use but would like you to incorporate the theme of love into your project. You are free to use any colours of promarkers you like this week which is fab for me as I don't have any of the new colours Boo Hoo! lol There is a prize of 5 Markers for the winner Yay!! I decorated the inside too but forgot to take a pic TSK!

Dare U 2 Digi - Red & Green

Hi all, this week on Dare U 2 Digi Stamp the theme is red, green and a choice of neutral. Red and green lends itself to Chistmas cards really well so seeing as I have been up to my neck in Christmas cards for what seems an eternity, I made another one! LOL. I do love this cute little penguin from Pink Petticoat, the collection is really sweet. I coloured the image with Promarkers and added stickles glitter. The DP is Papermania and the mirri card, red card stock and ribon is from stash.

Dare You 2 Digi Stamp Challenge 26 Glitter

Hi,

The theme this week over at DU2DS is GLITTER! I love glitter but it get s everywhere lol.

I have been a bad blogger lately and have not had time to enter any challenges or leave any comments, hopefully I can get back into the swing of it soon. I love this digi from Sandra Dry, she is called Holly, very apt for a Christmas card hey? I coloured her with Promarkers and then added Stickles Glitter to her coat and hat. The background is a download from Crafty Designz, I just resized it to fit my card added some glitter to the leaves on the tree and some flowersoft snow to the window ledge. The Christmas tree in the window is a rub on that you add glitter to. the sentiment is from a Forever Friends decoupage sheet.

Passion for Promarkers Week 22 Poppy & Forest Green

This week at the Passion for Promarkers challenge Blog there is a colour challenge Forest Green & Poppy. Using only 2 colours is hard work! how do I get the shading? well I used the foredt green over the poppy red and then went over it again with the poppy red to blend. I used the blender pen to take out some of the colour on the boots for the hi lighted area.

Gift Box - Moving Along with The Times Challenge 17

This week the challenge at Moving Along With The Times is Anything But A Card. As I have just finished making a little gift box I thought I would enter it into the challenge.

I bought the plain box from Hobbycraft for 79p

I used my Nesties Lables Die to cut out a fancy top (sturdy cardboard) for the lid and another from the DP, the same paper I covered the rest of the box with . The DP was bought from Threadbare's shop, It is brilliant for this kind of project as it is quite strong and is double sided

Then out came the distress inks! I also decorated the inside

I then distressed some mulberry roses, sizzix cut leaf and sizzix cut swirls and added some pearls and lace!

Charisma Cardz Challenge 40 A Recipe

Sorry about the poor quality photo but the bulb went in my craft lamp just as I was finishing this card grrr lol. I followed the Recipe at Charisma Cardz Challenge Blog 3 papers, 3 flowers, 1 ribbon and 1 charm. Just Magnolia Wk 26 Sketch by Mina

The Wk 26 challenge at Just Magnolia is a Sketch by Mina, it is quite a simple one which I like :0) I have had my Tilda coloured up for a while and I bought the Ribbon while I was browsing Hobby Craft on Friday so orange was the colour for this card. I think the brown tones down the colour a little so it's not so in your face ( I Hope!) Yellow Orange & Black or White - DU2DS

Yellow Orange & Black or White is the theme this fortnight over at DU2DS Friday Challenge This was quite a challenge for me, having to choose an image that would lend itself to this colour combo. As it is nearly Halloween and the colours suited this theme I went with a Halloween card and the goth dragon from Dustin Pike jumped out at me, so here is my card. We are ignoring the bit of green that sneaked in with the pumpkin LOL. I look forward to visiting your Blogs to see how you get on with the Dare!
