DU2DS Friday Challenge 35 - Metal

This weeks DU2DS Friday Challenge is Metal.........

I was not sure how I was going to approach this challenge but knew I wanted to use this adorable Chibi Mermaid drawn by the very talented artist Cyname. She uploads her drawings on the Deviant Art website and allows you to colour her art as you wish. I had a shell charm that I thought would look fab on the card and would  also be my "metal" for the theme. I also used some metalic board for the swirls.

I have coloured the mermaid with Promarkers with added stickles glitter. The Dp's are Making Memories ( I think) Ribbon and cardstock from stash.

I haven't yet put a sentiment on as I feel it could be used for a number of occaisions so I left a space above the ribbon to add a small greeting if required.

This weeks Dare takes on an Easter Theme.

I have used Chris Dark's Easter Basket Image

 I printed 3 images and after colouring with Promarkers I cut them and layered them up with foam pads.I carried the theme on to the inside of the card also.

Here is my card for the Moving Along With The Times- Challenge 33 

Hazel has created a fab sketch to follow and the theme is open so I used it to make an Easter card

There ia a fab prize on offer by the Digi Stamp Boutique too.

My image is a free download (sorry I have forgot who's) that I have coloured with Promarkers. The DP's are from a 12x12 scrap book set that I got from the reduced shelf at Dunelm

the ribbon is Anitas and the sentiment has been printed from PC

DU2DS Challenge 33 - No patterned paper!

This is a challenge and a half as I love designer papers lol but I dug out my embossing folders and got to work! Not sure who's these digis are but will try and find out and put a link on as I love this cheeky monkey.

As usual I have coloured the image with Promarkers. I inked up the Birthday embossing folder with white ink before embossing the blue paper. It just gived the embossing a bit more definition.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge 32 - Pearls

Happy Friday!!

Here is my DT card for this weeks challenge over at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp  The theme this week is Pearls.

As usual we need to see a digi image on your creations and the challenge runs for two weeks, hope you can join us.

I love this digi from Sassy Studio Designs, she is called Sassy Cassie and I coloured her with Promarkers and added some stickles glitter.

The designer papers are Papermania Capsule Collection and so is the ribbon
