Yellow Orange & Black or White is the theme this fortnight over at DU2DS Friday Challenge This was quite a challenge for me, having to choose an image that would lend itself to this colour combo. As it is nearly Halloween and the colours suited this theme I went with a Halloween card and the goth dragon from Dustin Pike jumped out at me, so here is my card. We are ignoring the bit of green that sneaked in with the pumpkin LOL. I look forward to visiting your Blogs to see how you get on with the Dare!

Here is my care for this weeks DU2DS Challenge 22 Punched Shapes or Die Cuts. You can use punches, any dies, nestabilities etc., or pre-cut chipboard shapes. We have a prize of two digi stamps from Sketching Stamper and two from Sandra Dry Digital Designs. As usual there has to be a digital image on your card and the challenge runs for two weeks.
On a sad note San has deciced to take some time out and will not be part of the DT. We all wish her well, she will be missed greatly.

This week we would like to see blue and green with either white or cream. As usual there has to be a Digi Stamp used. I have used this cute dragon from Dustin Pike. I have coloured him with promarkers, which are proving hard to get on with and if any one knows where I can get some card suitable for promarkers please let me know :0) I have kept the card simple and used my swirly CB folder on the green BP.

This week our Dare is: Anything but a card and can be anything you like such as a gift bag, gift box, ATC, or a bookmark. which of course must include a digi image. We hope you can join us over at DU2DS There will be a prize this week of two single digi images from Sketching Stamper and two single digi images from Sandra Dry Designs.
I wanted a tall box to house some bath bombs for a gift, I scoured the interenet for a template but I couldn't find the right sized box only teeny weeny ones so had a go at making up my own template from 12x12 card YAYYY! it worked ok lol. The digi rose image is a free Dover image that I have watercoloured and stickle glittered. The papers are also a digi free download and is a set called Rich & Shabby for Gina k designs and were a freeby. I used my nesties and CB folders as well as ribbon, lace and gems from stash
This week our theme is Pink Back & White @DU2DS. I made this 8x8 card for a good friend who's birthday it will be soon. I followed the sketch from the Mojo Monday Blog and will be entering my card into their challenge this week.
The DP used are digi downloads I have had them ages so can't remember where thay are from. The perfume bottle Digi Stamp is from the fab Chris Dark's site Sketching Stamper that I have coloured a little with and embossed.I made two copies of the stamp and cut out the bottle stoppers and raised them with some ds foam pads. I matted onto some black card that I cut with my nesties lable die, cuttlebugged and then inked up with a white pad. Flowers and ribbon are from my stash

This weeks theme is Ribbons. I really did not know how to approach this challenge and wanted to be really creative with ribbons. As it turned out I wasn't creative with ribbons lol but I did use a very pretty one that has been lingering in my ribbon box unloved for ages and I though it would be perfect to use with Chris's Bluebells Digi Stamp which is just gorgeous. Check out her blog she has some fantastic new designs there is a link in my side bar for Sketching Stamper. I printed out the image twice, one I enlarged to use as a background and recoloured it in psp to a faint bluebell colour then printed a smaller version that I cut out with my nesties and watercoloured. When dry I added a rub on butterfly and a little glitter. I matted onto some deep blue paper with brads added the ribbon and viola! one finished card. I did not have time to decorate the inside yet I have been having a hectic weekand have not had time for much card craft this week. Details to follow later ........
