Sketch & Stash Challenge 11 and Tilda with lilacs

Having not been very creative this week (house still upside down with decorating) I decided I must enter a challenge as I had NEW STASH to use! I had taken delivery last week of my new Magnolia stamp and this week my new expensive water colour paper and aqua brush arrived. So the Sketch and Stash challenge was perfect for me. The DT cards are brilliant and give loads of inspiration. I must say the paper I have bought has made such a difference and well worth the extra pennies it is Fabriano Artistico 90lb (200gsm) HP, give it a try it is so much better than rough watercolour paper or card stock. I love my new Tilda bought from Sparklybits store she is such a cutie. Have a fab and sunny weekend Caroline

Charisma Cardz Challenge 20 Flowers, Lace and Pearls

Challenge 20 on the Charisma Cards Thursday Challenge has been set by Sally and is Flowers Lace & Pearls. There is also a fab stamp set up for grabs. I have used a Tilda Stamped image for the challenge and my fave K&Co papers. Although my lace is hard to see it is layered on to the scalloped border at the bottom of my card. I do think I have cut the circle a little too big but hey ho it os stucj=k on there now lol.

Challenge 8 DU2DS One for the boys!

This week On DU2DS Friday Challenge, our dare is "One For The Boys". Make a card or other crafty creation with a male theme. Remember your card etc must have at least one digi image. There are some fab creations by the DT again this week. Lots of inspiration, I look forward to stopping by your blogs as I find mens cards difficult so will be looking out for lots of ideas, lol. This is my take on the Penny Black Saturday Challenge Wk 49. Recipe 3..2...1 Three Flowers....2 Papers.....1Charm/Brad. I used my nesties to cut the shaped card as well as the DP's and Stamped image. The flowers are punchies, the papers K&co.

Thank you card No.2 I decided to use another sketch for my 2nd thank you card and loved this one over at Sketch Saturday . I used my new K&co papers yum yum they are gorgeous! Just Magnolia Challenge Week 5

This is the first of two thank you cards I have made for my son to give to his teachers, who he likes, as he is sitting his exams this week and then leaves school. Wow I feel old now lol. I decided to follow the week 5 sketch at Just Magnolia and enter their challenge this week. There are some gorgeous cards by the DT again this week and a fab prize up for grabs too.

Challenge 6 DU2DS Gingham & Stitching

Week 6 on Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and I really enjoyed this challenge as I love the "country style" Also this week is a very special challenge that is being sponsored by Post Pals! Charisma Cards Challenge 17 - Thank You

I had play around with some Digi Images for this challenge over at Charisma Cards where the theme this week is Thank You, make anything as long as it has Thank You. The gorgeous fairy is Sandra Dry's collection and the Digi Background is from Crafty Designz. I played around in PSP taking the white away from the digi stamp then placed it onto the digi background image and then rubbed off the background that showed through the fairy. I printed it and then watercoloured the fairy and added stickles, some ribbon and a flower.

I got to play with my new PB stamps to make this card for this weeks challenge fover at Penny Black Saturday Challenge This week you have to have 3 different shapes (but not including your card and backing paper).. any shape ~ square, rectangle, circle, hearts etc.... on your creation and there is a prize. PB Stamps is giving 1 lucky winner a $15 gift voucher to spend in their store.
